Budget Header Id:
A unique system generated number. You can’t modify this number.

Enter the project number in the project number field. You can enter the project number in different ways

1. Enter 2 consecutive characters from any part of the project number in the project number field and system will show you a list of projects containing the text entered in that field. You can select the project number from the suggestion list.
2. If you know the complete project numbers then enter it in the project number field.
3. If you want to search projects, then click on project number field. System will show you a search icon next to the project field. Click on the search icon to search & project item.

Budget Type:
Select a budget type as applicable for the budget. System defaults approved cost budget for all new budgets but allows you to override the value.

Version Name & Number:
Enter version name and number for the budget. System default version name as Current Original and version number as 1 for all new budgets.

Description:
Enter any comment /remark in the description field.

Current:
Enable the current checkbox to mark that the version is the latest version. By default, system enables this checkbox for all new budgets but it allows you to override the value.

Original:
Enable the original checkbox to mark that the version is the original version. By default, system enables this checkbox for all new budgets but it allows you to override the value.

Baselined:
Enable the baselined checkbox to mark that the version is the baseline version for cost and revenue calculations and reporting.

Raw Cost:
Enter the budgeted raw cost for the project.

Burdened Cost:
Enter the budgeted burdened cost for the project.

Labor and Non-Labor Effort Cost:
Enter the budgeted labor and non-labor efforts. These values are used for reporting purpose and don’t have any financial impact.

Baseline By & Baseline Date:
System enters these values during baseline processing.
