Item Cost

inoERP

Default description

Click on "Cost Management" button in "User Dashboard - inoERP"

Click on "Search Item Cost V" link to search existing item cost

Click on "Item Cost" link to enter cost for a new item

Select a BOM cost type anything except frozen

System will show the above shown message if you select BOM cost type as frozen

Click on "OK" button to remove the message and navigate back to the item cost form

Select an organization name

Enter an item or select an item number from select popup form

Click on "Training Item 01" edit in "CST - Item Cost - inoERP - Mozilla Firefox"

System defaults the item description and UOM from item master.
Modify the UOM if required

Select an element type.
inoERP tracks costs in 5 different primary elements : Material, Material Over Head, Over Head, Resource, and Outside Processing

Select an user defined element
You can define as many elements as required as per your business requirements

Select a cost basis for the element

Enter the cost amount for the element

Follow above steps to more cost line as required for your business

Click on save button to save the cost details

Cost Type

inoERP

inoERP allows you to track the cost of one item with several cost types. Different cost types can be used for simulation or tracking historical costs of items

Click on "Cost Management" button in "User Dashboard - inoERP"

Click on "Search Cost Type" link to search existing cost types
Click on "Cost Type" link to enter a new cost type

Click on search button to view search result

Click on view/update button in check the details of a cost type

Right click and select "Copy Header" option to copy the cost type information to a new cost type

You can also click on new document button to create a new cost type

Select an organization name

Enter a code for the new cost type

Enter a name for the new cost type

Enter a description for the new cost type

Select status of the new cost type

Enable multi org check box if that is applicable for the cost type

Select a default cost type for the new cost type

Select "Default Cost Type Pending" item in "Cost Type - Create & Update BOM Cost Types - inoERP - Mozilla Firefox"

Click on save button to save the cost type information

Cost Update

inoERP

Cost update form can be update the cost of items from a user entered cost type to frozen cost type

Click on "Cost Management" button in "User Dashboard - inoERP"

Click on "  Cost Update" edit in "User Dashboard - inoERP - Mozilla Firefox"

Select the cost type from which you want to update the frozen cost

Click on search button to find all the items with their chosen cost type

Select all the items for which you want to update the cost

Click on save button to update the standard cost

System will show messages showing that standard cost is successfully updated
If system fails to update standard cost for any item then it will show the error message for that item

Cost Roll Up

Cost roll up is used to roll up cost of a make item from the costs of all it's component

Click on "Cost Management" button in "User Dashboard - inoERP"

Click on "Cost Rollup" link to run the cost rollup program

Select the cost type for which you want to roll up cost

Click on search button to find all the items with their chosen cost type

Select all the items for which you want to roll up the cost

Click on save button to update the standard cost

Cost Roll Up

Cost roll up is used to roll up cost of a make item from the costs of all it's component

Click on "Cost Management" button in "User Dashboard - inoERP"

Click on "Prg Cost Rollup" link to run the cost rollup program

Click on " Prg Cost RollUp" edit in "User Dashboard - inoERP - Mozilla Firefox"

Select the organization name for which you want to run the program

Select a cost type for which you want to roll up costs from child components

Click on " Submit" to submit the program

Navigate to admin -> Program -> Start Main Program
Run the main program if it's not scheduled to run in the back ground

Navigate to admin -> program -> search program request

Click on " Search Program Requests" to view the details of the submitted cost roll up program

Click on view/update button to review the details of the program

Cost Update

Cost update program updates the cost from a user entered cost type to frozen cost type

Click on "Cost Management" button in "User Dashboard - inoERP"

Click on "Prg Cost Update" link to run the cost update program

Select an adjustment account for the cost update program run

Select a cost type from which frozen cost will be updated

Enter item number parameters if you want to run the program for a single item or a series of of items

Click on "Submit" button to run the cost update program

Navigate to admin -> Program -> Start Main Program
Run the main program if it's not scheduled to run in the back ground

Right click on " Start Main Program" edit in "User Dashboard - inoERP - Mozilla Firefox"

Click on " Search Program Requests" to view the details of the submitted standard cost update program

Click on view/update button to review the details of the program

Navigate to item cost to review the new frozen cost

Click on "Cost Management" button in "User Dashboard - inoERP"

Click on "Search Item Cost V" to view the item cost details

Select "training" item

Enter the item number and Click on search button

Review the new frozen cost for the item

Click on update/view button to review the cost details
